Only available for 3 months in 2017 – just $900/month plus electricity.
Beautiful short term or vacation rental available this year. Just 900/month plus utilities, or $650/week for a 3 BR, 2 BA lovely home with ocean views, river and waterfalls with swimming areas, bananas trees, and neighbors all around though you would never know it!
Come get a taste of San Ramon and see what we have to offer! House hunting? This is the perfect place to see the central valley and the mountains up to the Arenal area- Palmares, Atenas, Grecia and Naranjo are all just 20-40 minutes away on the highways, Nuevo Arenal is about 2 hours but a great overnight! Poas is presently spewing ash and erupted 2x last week so we recommend staying away from that area for right now. SJO is 45 minutes away from this house and the beach is 45 minutes away in the other direction.
Hot water, dishwasher, outside porches, plenty of space! Comes completely turnkey!

Hi we are a small family of three from ny and are looking to move to CR in September/October, ideally we would like a 6 months to annual rental but we are open to shorter term rentals. We don’t know much about San Ramon but we are looking to be near schools, churches, community colleges, etc, as we are planning to live here not just vacation. Can you tell me more about what San Ramon has to offer a family? Thank you!

Hi Sheri,
San Ramon is perfect for families – it is a growing city with great amenities, and the outskirts are all farms and fresh air living. Costs are low as real estate here in San Ramon is still reasonably priced, both for rentals and sales, and we are not a tourist or big expat area so cost of living is tico cost, and little to no crime (though petty thievery is all over CR). There are public schools for each neighborhood, several private bilingual schools for children ages 2.5 through highschool, and one of the few public IB high-schools is in Palmares, the next town over (less than 10 min. from San Ramon town to Palmares town driving, and there is a bus several times/day). We have a University of San Jose campus and University of Costa Rica’s occidental campus. There are baptist churches, catholic, JW, a bilingual service in one of the expat neighborhoods, and a bible study group I could connect you to. There are tons of playgrounds, after school activities like kickboxing, swimming, cheerleading, to name a few. I have 3 kids – and they get to be kids. We run in the park, have icecream for 75cents (which leaves more $ for school supplies which can be pricey – some things here cost less, some more), we are less than an hour from so many great things, and less than 2 hours from even more! The children’s museum in San Jose, the farmers market in town every weekend, almost all the volcanos are about an hour away, the waterfall pools are 10 minutes away, the beach 45… you get the idea. its a great place to raise children! And yourself! What part of NY? I’m from Manhattan and Orange County area upstate, and my husband is from here.
